The film begins on a fancy day with the newly formed couple. It is her first date ever, Lara Jean admits. Cathcart’s Kitty has had an important role in the original film as Lara Jean Covey’s little sister (Lana Condor). In the first film, once she has found old characters written by Lara as a timid high school junior by her sister to males she had a crush, Kitty is the spark behind the film’s tale. Kitty unwittingly wrapped Lara in unforeseen Rome with Peter Kavinsky, after he had sent them surreptitiously (Noah Centineo). Kitty becomes a lively adolescent over the last two films following her, throwing off zingy one-liners and even her first love.
After 2018, To All The Boys I Loved Before, Franchise had founded huge success, even being highly regarded as one of the most visited original movies on Netflix. The Kitty character also garnered good receptions for the fans, who were mostly referred to as a “scene-stealer,” thus it is not a surprise that after the success of All Boys, she landed her spinoff series.
