Our narrative starts in July of 1998. In Raccoon City, USA, a series of brutal, cannibalistic killings began. The Raccoon City police department traced the source of the murders to the Arklay mountains and dispatched their elite task team, S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service), to investigate. S.T.A.R.S. initially dispatches Bravo Team to the Arklay Mountains, but they lose touch once there. They quickly dispatched Alpha Team to assess the situation and begin the inquiry.
When the Alpha Team arrives, the Bravo Team’s chopper has crashed, killing one of its members, Kevin Dooley. The Alpha Team was then ambushed by a pack of wild dogs, and one of their members, Joseph Frost, was ripped to shreds. The Alpha Team attempted to save Joseph but were surprised to find that their gunshots had little effect on the monstrous dogs. After witnessing the horrible scenario, Alpha Team’s pilot, Brad Vickers, decides to abandon their helicopter, leaving Alpha Team trapped in the Arklay Mountains. Our heroes have no choice but to evacuate to the next safe haven. They come across an abandoned mansion and hurry inside, closing the door behind them. Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Barry Burton, and their captain, Albert Wesker, are the only members of the Alpha Team still on this mission. After gaining their bearings after being hunted by the mutant dogs, Alpha Team chooses to investigate the mansion in groups.
They discover the cannibalistic murderer feeding on the corpse of Kenneth Sullivan, a Bravo Team member. An ugly, rotting guy who feels no pain from shooting, but a bullet to the head eliminates the monster quickly. However, he wasn’t alone – it turned out that this home was infested with undead zombies. As Alpha Team begins their search of the estate, they realize that zombies aren’t the only terrible inhabitants. Mutant crows, spiders, snakes, sharks, plants, and even humanoid lizardmen were among the creatures. Not to add that this home was riddled with death traps and puzzles to keep invaders at bay.
About the quiz
After overcoming all of these obstacles, they are able to rescue Rebecca Chambers, the sole survivor of Bravo Team. Alpha Team eventually discovers the truth after discovering a laboratory concealed beneath the home. The T-Virus, an artificial virus manufactured by the Umbrella Corporation, was responsible for all of these monsters. Their purpose was to create Bio-Organic Weapons (B.O.W.) and sell them to militaries all around the world. However, an accident allowed the T-Virus to leak, infect all of the research workers, and then free all of the imprisoned B.O.Ws. The most stunning revelation, however, was that S.T.A.R.S. captain Albert Wesker was one of the facility’s top researchers.
When our S.T.A.R.S. confront Albert Wesker, he coldly admits that he has been working for Umbrella the entire time. He informs them that S.T.A.R.S. was brought here to test the combat abilities of the B.O.W. Wesker would gather data and bring it back to Umbrella once they were dead, but Albert Wesker has other intentions. He intends to defraud Umbrella by selling the data to one of their rival companies because he believes the outbreak would bankrupt Umbrella.
