The French crime drama Lupin started by adapting the Arsène Lupin Adventure of Maurice Leblanc’s “Queen’s Necklace,” but the 10 episodes have revealed other Lupin adventures; ultimately, they are about the eponymous collar and how they connect the families of Pellegrini and Diop over 25 years. The most important question of the series is solved in Part 2 recently released: Can Assane Diop (Omar Sy) have Hubert Pellegrini’s (Hervé Pierre’s) revenge? Would he be able to do so more significantly, while maintaining the Arsène Lupin thief’s code — i.e. to obtain justice without killing?
Lupin viewers may have learned to expect this major twist of the episode: The latest Pellegrini co-conspirator – Philippe Courbet, the suspected young accountant – is working with Assane and Ben covertly. You were suspicious of the fact that he was in a convenient position to draw the majority of donations from the Pellegrini Foundation to the Canary Islands’ private accounts with an incredible unscrupulous plan, although Pellegrini would not care of this level of supervillains.

But chapter 10 shows Assane and Ben pushing out Arsène Lupin’s library to intercept fellow diehard admirers. And recruit an accomplice for their con, and uses one of the distinctive bands. Assane enjoys pulling disadvantages and only if he thinks the audience will be caught is he eager to make sure that he found out everything from the beginning. After Leonard’s death, Assane had to go into hiddenness, one inspired by Pellegrini, who dispatched a new henchman to Leonard. It was a huge setback to Assane’s plans because he was suddenly running away from the police, where the police were summoned to Leonard’s home to find every disguise. However, Assane already had a couple of steps to go, because he had hired a young man, Philippe Courbet’s name, to become the financial adviser to Pellegrini, who had convinced him to turn the charity concert of Juliette into a chance to wash the money donated to the Canary Islands. Assane also opposed her father, leading her mother to convince Pellegrini to do so too (though that only lasted so long).
Pellegrini just enjoyed becoming richer, even if he had to steal the money directly from the foundation of his daughter. Not only could Assane divert the cash to a charity’s account, but he also used a smartwatch to capture Pellegrini’s confession, including plans to accuse Babakar Diop from the start for collar theft, then killed Leonard in jail before collecting insurance money. A master with a man actually.
