About the quiz
The results demonstrate that simple flavors continue to reign supreme in the ice-cream kingdom. Vanilla received the most Instagram posts, with 439,108 hashtags alone. Surprisingly, chocolate came in third place with 301,979 hashtags, trailing only the formidable matcha (315,714). Fruity flavors such as coconut, strawberry, and blueberry made the top 20 list as well.
Dessert flavors including Oreo, cookie dough, and cotton candy ranked high. Other Asian-inspired flavors, such as ube, were also included. It’s a sweet vegetable flavor that’s brilliant purple, making it a delectable and Instagram-worthy flavor.
While some people keep to their conventional roots, many others are prepared to experiment with the unusual. Outside of the top 20, Jack and Beyond discovered that lobster flavored ice cream had 955 hashtags, sweetcorn had 1,812 hashtags, olive oil had 2,262 hashtags, basil had 2,545 hashtags, garlic had 4,495 hashtags, and the ever-popular bacon had 6,242 hashtags.
