In principle, teaming up with other survivors sounds appealing, but in the end, the most important thing is to keep your blood from covering the nearest hook. For the most part, focus your efforts on repairing generators and unlocking the exit door as quickly (and discreetly) as possible, regardless of how many excruciating shrieks you hear. Staying selfish is the only way to stay alive—the entertainment value of swooping to someone’s rescue doesn’t nearly outweigh the high danger of death for drawing the killer’s attention.
