Lawful Good people believe in social norms because they benefit everyone. There would be anarchy if everyone followed their own rules, and people might end up hurting each other.

Lawful Good characters place a high value on justice. If someone does not follow the rules, the authority system should deal with them. They get enraged when others flout the rules and get away with it.

They also think that good deeds and behavior will be rewarded.

A Lawful Good character holds himself or herself to the same norms as everyone else. They almost never, if ever, break the rules. If they do transgress the rules, they will feel highly uneasy about it.

If a Lawful Good character finds a civilization that has beliefs that differ from their own, they will not necessarily want to impose their own ideals on the people in that community. However, it is dependent on the legislation. If the laws contradict their alignment, the character may encourage citizens to disregard them or even attempt to modify the laws themselves.
