Take this Am I A Serial Killer quiz to find out. We update the quiz regularly and it’s the most accurate among the other quizzes.

It’s all too easy to dismiss serial killers as terrible, inhuman freaks. Surely, there must be some tell-tale indicators of a serial killer, right? They’re a different species than you and me. A separate species, with characteristics and raised in settings that typical people would never experience.

Surprisingly, however, this is not always the case. Serial killers walk among us every day, attending the same schools and workplaces as us, reading the same newspapers, and acquiring the same opinions as us. They remain hidden in plain sight by disguising themselves as ordinary people.

A serial killer, on the other hand, may occasionally remove their mask.

Editor’s Picks

You’ve probably heard phrases like psychopathic, sociopathic, narcissistic, and psychotic used in reference to serial killer psychopathology, and it’s true that these personality disorders (and others) are frequently prevalent serial killer features. This means they’ll behave in ways consistent with these diseases, which means we’ll be able to detect them.

Empathy Deficit
A lack of emotional depth is one of the most typical traits of serial killers. Empathy, in particular. It is hard to be sympathetic to someone while committing planned homicide on them.

Am I A Serial Killer?

This feature is shared by both sociopaths and psychopaths and is hence present in the vast majority of serial killers. Interestingly, this isn’t to argue that a serial killer will have no empathy for anything or anyone. It is entirely conceivable for a serial killer to have empathy for another human being, even if that human being is rarely one of their victims. Several studies have revealed that serial killers are well aware of their victims’ distress, but they do not feel it themselves. Also, you must try to play this Am I A Serial Killer quiz.

Absence of Remorse
This is related to the previous entry. Once again, a serial killer is unlikely to feel remorse for their actions. If they had, they would not have received the’serial’ prefix.

Many serial killers have spoken out against this tendency, with some claiming that they only feel remorse after a long period of time has elapsed since their crimes. Some believe this is nothing more than a ruse, and considering how proficient many serial killers are at concealing their genuine motives, it’s impossible to know for sure.

Impulsiveness
This one is both yes and no, yet it is prevalent in enough serial killers to merit inclusion on this list.

Many serial killers have remarked, “I wanted to stop, but I couldn’t.” Dennis Nilsen stated that he did not want to kill but that he had no other option.

About the quiz

Tommy Lynn Sells stated that when he noticed a woman strolling alone late at night, he couldn’t stop himself from following her. William Heirens once scribbled, “for heaven’s sake capture me before I kill any more.” “I can’t stop myself,” he wrote on the wall of his victims’ bedrooms. Aileen Wuornos was a prostitute who killed numerous of her clients while they were in their automobile.

Grandiosity
Most serial killers enjoy bragging about their successes. Many of them believe they are above the law and smarter than everyone else.

Narcissism
Their grandiosity is also associated with their exaggerated self-perception – or narcissism. Most serial killers are fascinated with how the press, police, and general public perceive them, which is why they may occasionally try to influence the narratives of their story. Many people aren’t scared to flaunt about their misdeeds in public if they believe it will get them the attention they seek.

Armin Meiwes, a cannibal, killed and ate a man he met online in a peculiar case back in 2002. Following that, he boasted about the crime in numerous chat forums, even going so far as to publish images of his work to demonstrate other self-proclaimed cannibals of his accomplishments.
