Emily Osment informs the star of the TV Line of the episode of Wednesday which closed with Gabi suggesting to Josh and ask him to relocate with her to Seattle, where she would work under Chef’s Iron Alex Guarnaschelli. “We are kinda left on a huge cliffhanger, eh?”
When the episode was filmed, the ending of a cliffhanger looked like a sensitive move; Osment claims the cast thought ‘simply’ that a sixth season would be ordered. “To a little, though, plans modified, which happens,” she acknowledges. “Television is something you can’t predict, so we have had to change our path a bit.”
Fortunately, Osment says that she “is in discussions” to finish the story of Gabi with a TV film to close up fans. “You may infer what Josh’s answer was, but hopefully sometime we will all listen to it in person,” she continues.

The stomach was difficult. It was difficult to close my tongue about what was truly happening in the last series. Then I had to keep it locked when we discovered we weren’t back. It was hard, therefore, to keep it so long privately. We wanted to go back. We wanted to truly finish it and have a good ending for the show. Nothing like Hannah Montana is this show. It’s a sitcom with four cameras. It’s a comedy, but the things we talk about are totally different, and the style of humor.
