“Wreck-It Ralph,” Disney’s latest animated family feature, begins with the creative wind blow: The movie mostly occurs in the realms of various arcade games and is a reason to continually change backgrounds, ground rules, and characters. When Felix persuades everyone to let him have a cake, he enters the debate with one of the Nicelands, Gene, and smashes his cake unintentionally and wracks the celebration. In addition, he’s unable to do something nice, Gene informs Ralph, and will always be a horrible guy.
