A half-demon named Inuyasha and the revered priestess Kikyo fell in love 500 years ago in a world filled with monsters, spirits, and curses, as well as swords and samurai. To defend the Shikon Jewel, Kikyo had to guard it against demons and bad people who wanted to control its power. While Naraku is a major obstacle, he is not the only one. It is Inuyasha’s full demon half-brother Sesshomaru who seeks out the magical sword that Inuyasha carries around with him. Upon his demon father’s death, the sword was given to him as a gift. The sword has a lot of power, but can only be held by a full demon.
