LESTRANGE BELLATRIX
Bellatrix Lestrange was the eldest child of the Black family and a pureblood witch. Her cousin was Sirius Black. She belonged to one of Europe’s Sacred Twenty-Eight families, which are the last authentic pureblood families. She became one of the most powerful Death Eaters in existence after attending Hogwarts as a Slytherin.

SEVERUS SNAP
Though many fans initially thought Severus Snape was a villain in the Harry Potter series, they quickly realized that he was actually a kind guy striving to help Dumbledore defeat Voldemort. Though it was obvious that Snape was a Death Eater because he attended their meetings and assisted Voldemort once he regained power, it was subsequently discovered that Snape had been a double agent all along. Everything he did was to keep Harry Potter safe.
Snape was a Slytherin at Hogwarts and eventually became a Death Eater on whom Voldemort relied, proving his importance. Snape was, however, a member of the Order of the Phoenix at the same time. During Harry’s stay at Hogwarts, he was the Potions professor. Because of his devotion to Dumbledore, he was eventually forced to assassinate the Headmaster.
VOLDEMORT/TOM RIDDLE
Though Tom Riddle was a Hogwarts student who was put into the Slytherin House, he went on to become Lord Voldemort, one of the world’s darkest and most powerful wizards. He was a half-blood wizard who had never learnt to love others since his mother had given him a love potion to make him love her. He was a descendent of Salazar Slytherin and linked to the Gaunts, one of the oldest pureblood families.
Despite Dumbledore’s efforts to assist the young wizard during his time at Hogwarts, Tom was always drawn to the dark arts. He learnt how to make Horcruxes and became nearly indestructible as a result. He eventually recruited a large number of devoted followers, decimating the wizarding community and claiming countless lives during two separate Wizarding Wars before Harry Potter finally fulfilled his destiny and ended him.
