Almost always, the meme displays a handsome individual looking melancholy, with a statement detailing his or her First-World complaints.
When Steven Crowder, a conservative podcaster, released a photo of himself in 2018 seated at a desk with a sign that said “Male privilege is a myth: Change my mind,” it was almost too easy for the internet to mock him with memes of their own. Memes ranged from simple text changes on a sign to sophisticated photoshops.
