Spiders – Ron Weasley
Anyone who has read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets knows how much Ron despises spiders (he is also perfectly justified to do so). It’s no surprise that the next story returns to Ron’s source of terror: enormous spiders.
They claim that facing one’s fears is the greatest way to overcome them. Despite coming face to face with Aragog, Ron nearly lost his mind during Lupin’s Boggart lecture. Some phobias are irreversible.
Hermione Granger – Failed Test
Hermione’s anxiety is more abstract than Harry’s and Ron’s, rounding out the primary trio in the Harry Potter trilogy. She’s terrified of failing. She is particularly concerned about failing her many academic assessments.
Fortunately, there is a spell that may be used to get rid of Boggarts: Riddikulus. When Hermione casts this spell, Professor McGonagall switches from telling her that she had failed to inform her that she had won a prestigious award. Molly Weasley’s Family Is Dead
Molly Weasley’s Family Is Dead
Molly Weasley is not one of the ten most important characters in Harry Potter, but her Boggart is key to understanding many of the Weasley family’s reasons. Her greatest fear is losing her entire family.
Regrettably, when Fred Weasley died, this came to pass in part. Molly, at the very least, never had to see the death of everyone she cared about. It doesn’t make losing Fred any easier, but it does show that her most pressing concerns were still being addressed. Also, you must try to play this What Is Your Boggart quiz.
What Is Your Boggart?
Professor Snape – Neville Longbottom
During Lupin’s third-year lesson, Neville is ordered to battle a Boggart and encounters Professor Severus Snape. No student should dread their teacher, yet it stands to reason that if Neville had to fear anyone, it would be Snape.
In his life, Neville has a constant struggle with defying authority. One of the most significant milestones was when Neville used Riddikulus to transform Snape’s wardrobe into one that resembled his grandmother’s.
Ariana Dumbledore – Dumbledore
Dumbledore is notoriously private about his own sentiments. After all, when Harry asked him about it in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, he claimed to see a pair of socks in the Mirror of Erised.
Dumbledore’s Boggart, on the other hand, indicates a deep inner truth within the former Hogwarts Headmaster. He is terrified of the lifeless body of Ariana Dumbledore, his sister, with whom he shares his deepest regrets. Dumbledore was far from faultless, and Boggart demonstrated just how imperfect a hero he was.
A Full Moon by Remus Lupin
It stands to reason that Lupin, who taught his students about Boggarts, would finally offer the pay-off of exhibiting his own Boggart. It’s just that it’s a full moon.
He isn’t terrified of rocks in space. Lupin is more concerned with what the full moon means. With full moons, he transforms into a werewolf. This concept conjures up feelings of guilt and dread in him, resulting in a tragic Boggart.
About the quiz
Voldemort’s Downfall
Voldemort, believe it or not, has many anxieties as well. Obviously, Harry gets under Voldemort’s skin, but Voldemort’s true Boggart is his own undoing.
Nothing frightens Lord Voldemort more than the prospect of death. That’s why he devised Horcruxes and sought immortality. He is continuously running away from his greatest dread, which is, in a manner, the concept that he can no longer fear.
Voldemort – Draco Malfoy
The video game LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 provides a wealth of information about the characters Boggarts. It becomes evident in this game that Draco Malfoy’s Boggart is Lord Voldemort.
Draco’s fear of Voldemort stems from a different source than that of others. Most people are afraid of Voldemort taking over the world. Draco is afraid of Voldemort frightening and manipulating the Malfoys.
Voldemort – Rubeus Hagrid
It’s no wonder that Hagrid is terrified of Voldemort. In reality, numerous characters in the aforementioned video game are revealed to be terrified by Voldemort. Hagrid is no different.
Hagrid leads with love and has a big heart, therefore it’s no wonder that Voldemort is his greatest dread. It also testifies to Hagrid’s bravery that he faces this fear even when it manifests tenfold.
