The Thundermans are a family with superpowers who try to live normal lives in the fictional town of Hiddenville. During the fourth season, Max and Phoebe are chosen as candidates for membership in the elite Hero League squad known as the Z-Force as part of their Thunder Twins team. Phoebe accidentally absorbs Dark Mayhem’s powers halfway through the season, turning her wicked, but her family saves her. Finally, Phoebe and Max take over as Z-Force leaders and accept the Thundermans as members.
On October 14, 2013, fans were introduced to Nickelodeon’s superhero family, The Thundermans, for the first time. The Thunderman family was the focus of the series, which starred Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin, Diego Velazquez, Audrey Whitby, Addison Riecke, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman, Dana Snyder, Rosa Blasi, and others. But they weren’t just any ordinary family; they all have superhuman abilities! Kira’s character, Phoebe, desired to utilize her powers for good, whilst her brother, Max (played by Jack), desired to use his to become a villain, complicating matters.
After five years and four seasons, the sitcom bid its final goodbye to the network on May 25, 2018, nearly two years ago, and fans still mourn their beloved family every day.
During an exclusive interview with J-14 in June 2020, Kira described what it felt like to put on her superhero outfit again for a TikTok video that quickly went viral.

“It was very bizarre,” the actress said. “Strangely, I haven’t worn it in a long time… and it immediately struck me that I had to do it for the ‘Wipe It Challenge,’ it’s just right.”
Of course, the actress also raved about how close she is to her old The Thundermans co-stars. When asked about the potential of a reboot, Kira stated that it would “make no sense to remake the show that was.” Having said that, she thinks it would be “great” to produce a reunion special or “a spinoff version of the show.”
“I think Phoebe probably ended up becoming President of the Hero League after running the T-Force for a minute,” Kira stated. “She most likely returned to SASS and became a teacher for all the fifth-grade student superheroes.” I could see her eagerness to share her talent… It’d be interesting to see what they’ve been up to.”
