Safeguard, contain, and protect. This is the unofficial motto of The SCP Foundation, a global organization tasked with capturing and confining anomalous (Non-Normal) beings and artifacts in order to protect normal civilian life throughout various realities.
The SCP Wiki is a website that catalogs, describes, and tests these artifacts (called SCPs) in order to see how they work and, in rare cases, how to destroy them.
The Foundation currently has about 4999 SCPs in containment, with three levels of safety. These are “Safe” (easily contained with few difficulties), “euclid” (requires more resources/accurate information), and “keter” (Difficult to contain, with its escape possibly leading to the end of the world).
These SCPs are uniquely unique in their own way, such as a hating lizard that adapts to protect itself (SCP-682) or a shapeless blob that tries to make all living beings happy (SCP-999).

These SCPs may also be able to alter our universe to their satisfaction.
The SCP Foundation also includes a number of storylines, such as the Broken Masquerade, in which The Foundation failed to keep its secret, allowing the world to become aware of anomalous things. Also, you will find out which SCP are you in this quiz.
There are also many Groups Of Interest (GOIs), such as The Chaos Insurgency, which is made up of ex-Foundation employees who want to use anomalies to gain power.
It’s a community-based writing group in which members create various articles or SCPs based on the universe. Users then flesh it out with their own creations, expanding on it with other conflicting organizations, tales, or whatever else they can think of. The articles themselves range from the ridiculous and charming to the grimdark and truly horrific. It also depends on the writers’ styles and the projects they choose to concentrate on. Contributions include art, writing, singing, dramatic readings, and, yes, video games.
About the quiz
At its core, the SCP Universe is about a modern-day secret world in which several organizations – the Foundation, the GoC, the Church of the Broken God, and so on – race to identify and confine abnormal things or creatures known as SCPs. They employ various tactics for a variety of purposes, ranging from attempting to keep humans safe to increasing profits by selling the weird artifacts. There are numerous narratives to aid in the development of the hundreds of various beliefs people have about the cosmos.
In summary, the SCP community may be whatever you want it to be. Do you want to create a comic or a role-playing series? Take a chance. Create a game based on the Staircase? That sounds like a lot of fun! Do you want to dress up as one of the doctors going about their business? Sure! We have various additional senior staff members that do this pretty frequently!
