(He recalls the date because it was Vietnam’s anniversary of a deadly skirmish.) Adam’s father, Judge Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston), went on to keep the crimes of his son hidden for ten episodes. He allowed another youth (Kofi, played by Lamar Johnson) to fall, and Kofi landed in prison, where Carlo (Jimi Stanton) was murdered by Rocco’s older brother. The Baxter family wanted more money and blasted Kofi’s house to death and fortunately saved the younger brother Eugene, who had been out at the time. And Michael agreed to control the system so that he was in charge of the Carlo trial when the Baxters ended up in the truth. Carlo eventually found himself not guilty, partly due to Michael’s manipulation of the courtroom, making it seem like justice would in no way be served.
