The finale of ABC’s The Middle is a series of happy endings for all the Heck children. But not just before a final family trip.
The hecks are ready for the great relocation to Denver from Axl. Frankie is the hardest to comprehend the news; she tries to keep her calm in front of her kid, but she freaks out otherwise. She almost loses it as Mike takes Axl a special moment, taking him apart for an old watch that once was his grandfather’s. And was to be busy following his brother’s great announcement. Then Sue joins them, and with her two brothers has a very nice experience. She says she likes to be a middle kid. The decision of Axl to quit the nest in his life to start the chapter sets the tone for the final series. When he says farewell to his family, we say farewell and the show. Sad, I know, but it has to end all wonderful things. In other words, this episode is a pivotal “goodbye” episode that gives every feeling. The audience, which has lived with the hecks essentially for nine years, has become so fond of them that they belong to the whole family. At the end of the show, like every famous TV-family sitcom finale, you rip gently out your heart and grasp the fabric.
