“A Scandal in Bohemia” begins with Watson reminding her of Irene Edler and of Sherlock Holmes’ amazement. Watson, busy in his new household, has been unable for a long time to attend Sherlock so he has no news of his friend save what he reads in the newspaper. When he is passing his former address, he decides to see him. His observations from his clothes impress Sherlock again and receive him. He tells Watson his riddle-like customer who calls them to wear a mask. But the King of Bohemia, Holmes, deduces his identity.

The King tells Holmes of Irene Adler, a past paramour, who has a photograph of them that she wants to use as a chastisement. The case is accepted by Holmes. The next day Holmes spies on Irene and watches her marriage with Gordon Norton, her lawyer, incidentally. That night, with Watson’s aid, he can frighten her of a fire that will bring her into disclosure. The following day, when the two kings and pals came into their house to seek the photo, they discovered that she had already left the identity of Holmes. The photograph was intended as political insurance and not as blackmail that the King guarantees.

One day he finds Watson in front of a robust red-headed man named Jabez Wilson when he visits Holmes. In the Red-Headed League, Wilson tells about his hired by Duncan Ross based on colored hair, where his minimal job was given a huge amount of money. He has been working for two months when he realizes that the League is disbanded and no lead can be traced there.

Well, wasn’t that much? Sherlock’s major triumph is that although new episodes have a long hiatus, the show comes back with a bang. It wasn’t different this fourth season.

Let us start by addressing the ancient legend which is so essential to this episode when a rich businessman meets death in Baghdad and shocks the two. The merchant goes to the distant town of Samarra, in a desperate attempt to escape his destiny. He finds himself face to face with Death once more upon arriving.

I’ve always liked that narrative, unlike Sherlock. Mismanagement, prophecy, anthropomorphic death; responsibility – these few phrases contain it all and they are used brilliantly by ‘The Six Thatchers’ Many attempts have been made to escape death and various fakeouts, sometimes regarding the identity of a fugitive. About the quiz

For example, at the end of season 3 looked like Moriarty could have escaped death. Sherlock now believes that Moriarty’s post-heavy legacy follows him in a new trap that he can not eschew so easily, having survived his presumably fatal Reichenbach Falls showdown with Moriarty.

“She’s always ‘the woman’ to Sherlock Holmes” The first story of the collection begins “A Scandal in Bohemia.” Irene Adler is the woman who has been outwitted by Holmes because she is the sole person ever. The King of Bohemia believes that Adler, his former lover, will chase him, who keeps compromise letters of love and a photograph. But it does succeed in turning the detective tables and maintaining the picture to assure its own safety. What Sherlock character are you?

The spooky “The Red-Headed League” is another gem of this collection. The League offers the red man a job in order to maintain him, while crooks graben a tunnel from his property cellars to a bank. Holmes helps in “The Man with the Twisted Lip” to uncover the mystery of Mr. Neville St. Clair’s disappearance. His wife saw him in a reddish area of town at the open window of an opium house, and the cops could not find any other than a beggar. There are a number of enigmas before Holmes can conclude.
