About the quiz
Writer/director Brad Bird realized he had to be enthusiastic and to bring his view to life – not just on a technical level, but by talented performers who could provide profundity and texture to his personages as he began his intensive journeyed by making ‘The Incredibles.’
He started the process by ensuring that the storyboards were enough for the players to communicate to produce multi-tonal shows. That is why Bird collaborated with story supervisor Mark Andrews, illustrator Teddy Newton, and animator Tony Fucile, who each played a vital part in the conception and implementation of the characters. “Brad just would explain to me the characters — he would not use too many words, but he would frequently make them a feeling or a voice” explains Newton, the first person to draw numerous characters in the film. “The voice would sometimes put in my head sufficient sights and concepts. It’s like listening to the radio and imagining what the individual looks like. You feel motivated and it all begins to take shape.”
