Abuela Alma: The Candle Keeper
Abuela Alma is one of the least liked characters in Encanto, but she is also one of the most powerful. Alma is the keeper of the candle that grants the other members of the family their abilities. Despite the fact that she has no gifts, she was chosen to receive the miracle.
That means Alma is in charge of ensuring that everyone else gains their abilities, which is critical to the survival of their household. Isabela: Produces Endless Plants
Isabela’s abilities maybe even more useful than Luisa’s, as, with the right encouragement, she could create plants that could feed the village indefinitely. At the start of Encanto, she is limited to creating flowers and other beautiful flora. Her abilities, on the other hand, evolve over time.
Isabela’s abilities appear to be limitless. Isabela, who resembles Poison Ivy from Disney, can accomplish so much with her abilities if she is allowed to fully thrive and grow without being suffocated like a vine. There are certain expectations associated with Isabela’s miracle, but whatever she creates is both stunning and useful.
Antonio: Communicates With Animals
Antonio is the family’s youngest member to develop his abilities, discovering in Encanto that he can actually communicate with animals. Antonio, a true wildlife enthusiast, is clearly enjoying his newfound abilities, but there’s no telling what they’re capable of.
There may be animals with whom he is unable to communicate, or the cacophony of voices may become too much for him. Regardless, mastery of the animal kingdom is incredible to behold, with a brave Antonio even being able to talk down tigers, potentially permanently protecting the village from predators.
Bruno: Can See Into the Future
The endlessly rewatchable Disney film Encanto lacks an outright villain, but Bruno is portrayed as one in the beginning. His ability to see into the future is without a doubt one of the most useful of the family. His prophecies could assist them in emotionally preparing for events or in avoiding negative situations entirely.
It is not ranked first, however, because of the numerous drawbacks. No one reacts appropriately to Bruno’s ability, forcing him to go into hiding. Despite his efforts to assist, Bruno is easily labeled as the bad guy, as if he is the one who is causing events to unfold. People should start talking about Bruno!

Julieta’s cooking can actually heal everyone, whether it’s a broken arm, a bee sting, or even a potentially dangerous illness. One bite of her food will solve all of a person’s physical problems. That is unquestionably a power that has a place in the village.
In theory, no one gets sick in Encanto, and life-altering injuries are nothing more than minor inconveniences for Julieta. Although the power does necessitate the availability of food, with enough planning, Julieta could constantly be saving lives with a simple empanada.
Mirabel: Family Empowerment
Mirabel appears to have no powers at all, but she is the most important member of the Madrigal family. She makes it possible for the rest of her family to thrive by giving the house its gift while also ensuring that everyone else is empowered.
Her positive attitude helps, as does her support for everyone, which boosts them in unique ways. Without Mirable, no one else would be able to access their miracle, as evidenced by her loss of faith in herself. She is the candle’s savor and the person in charge of overseeing everyone else’s gifts.
