Logan experiences a major brain aneurysm just a few hours after he announces that he will stay CEO. He has been rushing to the hospital where he remains, but he’s comatose. The whole family still assembled at the hospital for his birthday. While in it, Roman, the youngest son of Logan, and Shiv, the younger sister of Kendall and the only daughter of Logan, were fighting over whether Logan’s third and most recent wife Marcia should receive a place on the board of directors because that was one of Logan’s last requests before Logan became unconscious.
In the meantime, at the demand of Gerri, the General Counsellor of Waystar Royco and one of perhaps three persons who know all his secrets, Kendall takes over the corporation. Finally, Logan wakes up, and while it takes a bit for him to regain power. He returns to the organization, driving Kendall out. About the quiz
Logan’s wrong with all he’s saying here. Kendall allowed somebody to die, and he’s really a murderer when it comes to business. And in the last minutes of “This Is Not for Tears,” he proves it, totally ignoring the planned declaration he was going to make, in which he was responsible and blaming his father instead for everything wrong in the organization. It’s a time we should have noticed that most viewers, even those who anticipated properly that Kendall was sacrificing the family, probably didn’t. That made it enormously satisfying. It particularly felt nice at this time to see a metaphoric knife in one of the many cardigan cardigans of Logan cut through the knit and glade straight into his back.
But beyond simply being fulfilling, everything in the narrative we saw until this point also properly supports the end. During the entire second season, Kendall was so diligently dedicated to Logan that it was easy to forget where things began in season one between them. This program has always been about Kendall and Logan since the beginning. In the first season, Kendall tried to vote against his father without trust, which was a vote that failed. It’s a Judas kiss, a reminder that the administration of poison actually looks like tenderness in this family. However, this is also a response to that hug of a few months ago!
