“Entourage,” the hit comedy series managing Director produced by Mark Wahlberg, introduces HBO and its entourage, taking a peek at the day-to-day life of Vincent Chase (Vince). With him, he took his pal Eric, half-brother Drama, and Turtle from their birthplace, in Queens, NY. This series draws upon the experiences of insider industry to highlight both the heady excesses of the contemporary fashion of celebration and the difficulty of finding love and success in the quick course of the show.
The stars of Vince are Adrian Grenier (“Drive Me Crazy”), “Hart’s War.” Kevin Connolly (‘Antwone Fisher,’ ‘John Q’) is playing Eric, Vince’s closest partner who learns the rules of the company, trying to aid Vince in making the proper option and maintaining a high level of trajectory. Kevin Dillon (‘The Doors,’ ‘Platoon’) plays the half-brother drama of Vince, the very ambitions of which were overshadowed by the triumph of Vince. Jerry Ferrara (‘Life Grounded’) plays Turtle, the manager of the house, who always has to be up for the right hour. Ari is the forceful, powerful agent of Vince, Jeremy Pivnens (Old School, ‘The Larry Sanders Show’) who confronts Eric with the decisions of his customer.

Entourage seems likely, at this stage, to encounter two stumbling second lives. One is an increasing cliché series of films that discard any appearance of mankind in favor of the irrevocably large-budget fan service. And the other is the boogeyman, a convenient story about the cocaine-fueled entitlement. That writers use as a fount of inspiration for surreal, hilarious art. But as the saga of Vinnie and the boys continue on the silver screen. Prompting most of the Internet to either state that they want to see the film drunk. Or declare that they are willing to die before they set their foot on the theatre. We run the risk of forgetting an important fact that we all liked Entourage a lot.
Tim Goodman from the San Francisco Chronicle later stated, “HBO’s next bit of television appointment,” as Entourage was “almost soulless.”
