The New York Soul is in harmony with law vs. money, power, sex, and soul. In the second season, the characters struggle for control in a shifting, existential reality. It’s a choice between development and extinction for all of them.

Season three of ‘Billions’ is found in a universe that has moved on its axis by Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti). And Bobby Axelrod (Lewis). Both men have yet to destroy each other. But have to fight for their own existence among new powers and strong opponents. Also, the wife of Chuck and Axe’s performance coach, Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff), is unsettling. And hazardous position for both, and eventually a decision that can profoundly alter the course of their lives. Furthermore, for the individual characters and for the rest of the cast stellar all are on the line money, power, justice, and revenge.
The epidemic of COVID-19, which caused trillions to shut down seven episodes into its fifth season. Could have been a disguised blessing to the show. At the present, it is tough to watch a series of mostly ultra-rich white people who constantly dodge punishment for their criminal acts while men and women continue being assassinated for the crime of Blackness by police officers. While I am looking forward to the following five-season episodes, I think it’s better to continue this involuntary sabbatical for the present season.
