The Pianist Quiz – Which Character Are You?

Take this The Pianist quiz to find out which character from The Pianist are you. Answer these quick questions to find out. Play it now!

The title is hypocrisy, and so is the movie. “The Pianist” from Roman Polanski depicts the story of a classical Polish Jew who, through stoicism and good luck, escaped the Holocaust. It is not a thriller, and prevents all attempts to squeeze suspense or feelings; it bears witness to what the pianist witnessed and what occurred to him. That he lived was no success when he all died of whom he loved; Polanski, when he spoke of himself, claimed that his mother’s death in the gas chambers was so cruel that only his own death would come to a close.

The film is based on Wladyslaw Szpilman’s autobiography who played Chopin when the German bomb dropped on a Warsaw radio.

Editor’s Picks

That’s not the case. He refused but, by taking off his train for the death camps a good buddy who joined him would later save his life. The movie will depict the long and unbelievable narrative of how the Polish resistance was helping Szpilman to survive the war by hiding in Warsaw.

The Pianist quiz

The film starts in 1939, with renowned polish radio pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman. Wladyslaw went to his family’s home to have their stuff packed, but when they heard that Great Britain and France declared war with Germany, they chose to stay in Warsaw. You must try to play this The Pianist quiz.

Soon afterward, the Nazi government declared that every Jew had to wear a bracelet to mark them on the streets. Before they move to walled ghettos in the town, the Nazi forces begin to harass and kill Jewish residents. Szpilman is seeing his family for the last time.

Szpilman hides outside the ghetto and needs others to furnish him with food. After he smashes the tablet and the neighbor requests his papers, he must leave the initial hiding area. He flees to a safe house and has an old acquaintance in his own home, yet supplies come extremely slowly and his health is worsening. When he bombs his building, he must first escape from the Nazis by hiding in a bombed-out hospital and then by finding shelter in the attic in a building in his former, now abandoned ghetto.

About the quiz

The family of Władysław is chosen for resettlement in August 1943. Just when everyone is aboard the train to Treblinka, a Jewish police officer identifies and retracts Władysław. He never looks back at his family and hides the rest of the conflict. Władysławreturns into the ghetto and works manually, while he helps the Jewish resistance with the smuggling of food and weapons. With the assistance of his pals in February 1943, Władysław escaped the ghetto and cached himself for the rest of the war. Which The Pianist character are you?

He can initially hide in the additional apartments of his acquaintances. Later, in the attics of the abandoned buildings he is compelled to hide. The German soldier Wilm Hosenfeld meets Władysław in the winter of 1944. In his role, Władysław plays Chopin Nocturne Hosenfeld and Hosenfeld supports Władysław with supplies and hides during the rest of the conflict.

Władysław survives the war and returns as a pianist to his work. Although he tried to find Hosenfeld, he was not able to do so in a war prisoner’s camp before Hosenfeld’s death.

The Szpilman narrative, however, is a flight story. The film doesn’t go into this epicenter of suffering; nevertheless, it isn’t in resistance either and therefore the film doesn’t go into the big Warsaw Uprising. He has been holed in safe flats and has a ring-side seat for a lot of military activity while looking out of the window, but is curiously marginalized. Szpilman cannot play the piano much, and as a pianist or artist, there is not much understanding of his presence.
