It’s a departure from the “puni plush” art style employed in the animated series’ main storyline and key characters. Witches are also well-drawn, and they remind me of the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts in their appearance. It is in the color inserts that Hanokage’s painting really comes to life. Their illustrations and covers are exquisite. If carefully removed, I think they’d make great framed artwork.
