As a result of a paragliding accident, Philippe (Francois Cluzet) is paralyzed from his neck. With his wretched adolescent daughter (Alba Gaia Bellugi) and crew, he lives in a magnificent apartment in Paris. He has experienced many carers since his accident and is interviewing more currently. Following a long wait, Driss (Omar Sy) enters the interview room with impatience.
There’s something about the vibrancy, cockiness, and sensuality of this Senegalese man that draws to Philippe. He hires a flashy young man for a one-month trial, much to the consternation of his lovely red-headed assistant, Magalie (Audrey Fleurot). Driss, as a carer, has no notions about his profession.
Driss moves to the flat of Philippe. We can also suppose it differs greatly from the prison where he stayed six months for a robbery. Driss learns all the specifics about caring about a quadriplegic throughout his training and swiftly masters the chore of moving him from his bed to a wheelchair. The idea of “The Intouchables” might well have been to use the title “Pushing Monsieur Philippe” as a French offshoot of “Driving Miss Daisy.” A stuffy, wealthy boss finds his life brightened by a smart Parisian black man who teaches funky music and marijuana joys.
As Philippe interviewed one monotonous worker after another, we began to realize that he not only needed physical aid but also someone to encourage him. Driss’s cheeky irreverence is delightful and he and his own domestic employees are surprised by Philippe’s offer of a job.
The film informs about the increasing relationships between these two charming guys, based on Driss’ belief that if he departs his trapped lifestyle and samples an African immigrant’s wider liberties, Philippe will change. There might be a certain truth here, but Philippe’s schooling progresses with a number of nasty clichés fundamentally. Driss, you see, has rhythm and soul and he’ll be happier if Philippe alone can take that up.
Nakache and Toledano really switched the carer’s background from Algerian to Senegalese. He is called Abdel by Driss’s actual counterpart, who has a look at the true Philippe near the end of the movie. The French box office is seemingly a more risky gamble. Arabs.
The film rushes back to the first man’s meeting after its first lark. He just wants to see evidence that he applied for a job, and is now free to receive benefit checks.

But the guy’s cheekiness and lack of sympathy love their employer. Driss is totally unqualified to look after a disabled person and he chuckles edgy about the lack of consideration for the safety of his new employee. But he’s friendly and both of them become companions.
And the two men also love, albeit the approach of Driss is more straightforward, naturally. He is attempting to persuade Philippe’s voluptuous secretary (Audrey Fleurot) to take a bath, and he sends amorous letters to a woman that he never hopes to see his boss, a widower. The screenplay unfolds captivatingly from there, inviting the viewer to pay attention with apparently blasphemous scenes, for example when Driss pours hot water on Philippe’s senseless legs, surprised by the failure to respond; or when Driss tells Philippe insensibly to raise an alert, forgetting that Philippe is unable to use his hands. The unsettling aspect of such situations, however, is overwhelmed by the audience’s realization that Phillipe is grateful for genuine human interaction. Also, one does not cloud his physical disability with excessive pity and discomfort.
Cluzet depicts this brilliantly in the entire movie, as Philippe is starting to repose his will to live, laugh and see the world. Then, there are several sequences, including the opening scene in which Philippe and Driss essentially go on a “joy ride,” chased by policemen, and Philippe paraglides in his Maserati Quattro Porte, the activity which caused the injuries of Philippe.
