As I keep all these events close and dear, when you look at them as an adult, you notice things about them. I realize from time to time that what I loved the most about this show came in the first and second seasons. When it comes to Living Single especially, while I missed some things. The two seasons I enjoyed were like the TV equivalent of all of the black romantic comedies of the 1990s. And then the next two seasons were all right but not as powerful as the first two. I can live with it and still like it. But I want to piss off the Alderwoman Maxine Shaw for a third more than the fourth. That said, while a lot of us spoke about Living Single’s greatest, nothing was said about the last season. This may be for good reason: it was odd and, in some cases, rather awful.
